The Board of Governors of the Law Foundation of BC, and committees of the board, meet multiple times each year to consider and decide on grant applications.

The following grants were approved in 2021.
In addition to the grants listed below, funding was also approved for the following purposes:
- $35,000 for public interest participation grants
- $90,000 for one-time start-up costs for provincial legal clinics
- $202,125 for special needs grants
The Foundation also approved $778,000 to provide education, training and other supports to funded advocates and grantees.
